What are checkpoints in GTFO?
Checkpoints in GTFO allow prisoners to restart their expedition from a certain reached point, instead of starting from the beginning.
How do you create a checkpoint?
To create a checkpoint in GTFO, a checkpoint scan needs to be completed by a team of 4 players after solving any alarms, keys, generators, and security door lockdowns.
Can you return to a previous checkpoint?
No, once a new checkpoint is reached in GTFO, the previous checkpoint is overwritten and cannot be returned to.
What data is saved when returning to a checkpoint?
When returning to a checkpoint in GTFO, the following data is saved: prisoner's health, infection, ammo, pulse, and any objective items being held; environment status of opened/closed doors, locked/unlocked containers, and active Error Alarms; enemy positions, alert state, and hordes; objective progress including obtained key items and sector progress.
