Passive Mode in GTA Online - Overview and Features
Passive Mode is a player status mode in Grand Theft Auto Online that prevents the player from killing or being killed. This mode can be activated through the Interaction Menu and is free to activate. Passive players are marked on the radar and map with an icon and cannot use any weapons. In Enhanced Passive Mode, players and their vehicles appear as semi-transparent ghosts and cannot be targeted or damaged by other players. However, certain environmental hazards and vehicles can still kill passive players. There are also restrictions on participating in certain activities while in Passive Mode.
